This is part of a series of poems written from the point of view of cancer. This piece caught me a little by surprise just because i've become used to seeing a poster being expressive, not body copy. This makes me want to start looking at body copy as part of the piece, not just something you need to use.
Woah! How creative is this?? Honestly I agree. I would have never thought of using the body copy as expressive. Partly because, I guess it feels important and untouchable. But this proves me wrong! It is very creative and creates depth and interest!
ReplyDeleteDisturbingly beautiful... not an easy thing to pull off as a designer. One way to deal with the degradation of the body copy (if it HAS to be readable) would be use duplicating techniques... so the reader is offered one version to read, while another part of the design deconstructs the body copy.
