THINK

I found the use of layout here to be really gripping. It is evident to me and probably anyone within the first glance that the designer has set up the information to form the shape of the human brain. What I like most about it is that the only word legible from a distance is 'THINK"! Brilliant because its a "CAT", Call to Action. Which is extremely hard to ignore, however the designer hasn't placed much emphasis on anything other text, giving the reader free range to roam the image for other words that may trigger their imagination and curiosity.

  1. This grabs a lot of attention not only because of the layout; but, because of the "image" created through the use of type and the placement of the words/sentences. The focal point being the word" think" is also successful, being the boldest and in all caps creates interest. I agree. It is very gripping!

  2. Why do you think they placed this on textured paper? What does that add to the typography and shape of the brain?

  3. The paper choice is also very well done. The human brain is full of textures, so by creating the image via text and then applying it to a textured paper, it helps the image in its mission to create interest and be very brain like. Its adding the feeling, emotion even to the image which really always makes any typography more powerful if it provokes emotional responses from the viewer!
