NEWS: As of yesterday, you can now install H&Co fonts on your iPhone & iPads! Your device has always been able to consume content, however, creating it fell far behind in the development process. If you have ever purchased Hoefler & Co fonts from typography.com you can go to any browser and download them to all of you iOS 7 devices. Check it out!!
This is a cool idea! Unfortunately I don't have an iPhone or an ipad ( sigh ) But I wonder if they offer it to other devices? Because this would come in handy! Especially since some typefaces on phones are like boring. I would love to have Helvetica as a typeface!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea, surprised this hasn't happened till now. Baskerville would be a great typeface to text with, everything would look official.
ReplyDeletethe funny thing about saying it "would look official" is that his sort of brings us to a whole new level in terms of applying to serious things, like work or something similar, where is the line drawn on what is presentable or not when we have access to things like this available? It probably won't be long until they are making either this or something similar available to other devices.
