While browsing Mashable, I stumbled across this info-graphic comparing each state by what is mentioned more on social media. I really loved the typography on this one because it suits a fun, humorous info-graphic such as this one. I also loved the use of colors and icons. Its a pretty simple chart to read and the different shades of colors make it easy to tell which states value what and how much.
I also really enjoyed this info-graphic on "Thanksgiving Etiquette." Not only does this chart help you determine which fork to use at dinner without awkwardly choosing the the incorrect one, but it also has a clean and straight-forward design. I love the use of typography and illustration as well as the color palette. It even gives instructions on how to create a Turkey out of napkins!
I really enjoyed looking at this first infographic, the color palette they used makes something that sounds not interesting, a lot more entertaining to look at. As for the second one, I think the idea is great, however, I wouldn't bother looking at it unless I had to because of the color palette chosen. But from what I can see (due to the size) the infographics are great!
ReplyDeleteI remember these from class and I really like the first one because of the fun content and also I think they did a good job of showing the information and the color scheme. Very eye popping.
ReplyDeleteThe second was cool as well. It definitely feels very "fall" "thanksgiving" to me. So they nailed that. Also they typography choice is appropriate with the information. It brings unity to the piece.
